Cyber Garden presented by Special Special

We are excited about announcing you that the our first digital work, “SENSE SHARE BEAR” is an exhibition called “Cyber Garden” at the brand new museum in Shanghai, Museum of Art Pudong. Sense Share Bear is an experimental work to see how we can share our emotion through creative process in the virtual space.
Through the Kawaii community, Sebastian met MORI in Berlin and SENSE SHARE BEAR VR project has started. This piece is a part of “Cyber Garden” which is curated and presented by Wen You/Special Special, and is installed at the lobby of Museum of Art Pudong. We created this project without ever meeting each other in Berlin, New York, Shanghai, and Tokyo. It’s a project full of challenges that symbolizes the world we will go through this pandemic.
Sebastian’s comment:
Sebastian Masuda describes this work as follows: “The Sense Share Bear creates a new kind of communication between people who are far away from each other (and don’t know each other) by decorating a virtual object together. Communicating with a stranger in a strange country without words is not always easy. We can now explore ways of communicating in the new age via art. In addition, with the disappearance of psychological distance, borders and walls through digital technology, we will embark upon a new form of creative communication with people from different cultures.”
